Cascade Cadets JV seized victory in dramatic walk-off fashion, thanks to a walk-off single at the end of the game to topple North Putnam. The game was tied at five with Cascade Cadets JV batting in the bottom of the eighth when Jonas Johnson singled on the first pitch of the at bat, scoring one run.

In the first inning, North Putnam got their offense started. An error scored one run for North Putnam.

Cascade Cadets JV evened things up at five in the bottom of the seventh inning. Evan Lanphier’s sac fly scored one run for Cascade Cadets JV.

Cascade Cadets JV notched three runs in the second inning. The offensive onslaught came from a single by Weston Vonehrenkrook, a sac fly by Garrett Bassett, and by Zakary Kelley.

Bassett led the Cascade Cadets JV to victory on the mound. The fireballer surrendered two runs on two hits over four innings, striking out four.

Brayden Monnett took the loss for North Putnam. The bulldog lasted two and two-thirds innings, allowing five hits and two runs while striking out four and walking zero.

Sean Jarboe started the game for North Putnam. The hurler surrendered three runs on two hits over one and one-third innings, striking out one Kelley started the game for Cascade Cadets JV. Kelley allowed six hits and three runs over four innings, striking out two and walking zero.

Cascade Cadets JV totaled 11 hits. Carson Bassett, Johnson, and Lanphier all managed multiple hits for Cascade Cadets JV. Bassett led Cascade Cadets JV with three hits in four at bats.

Keegan Gibson went 2-for-4 at the plate to lead North Putnam in hits.
